Creamy Garlic Sauce

Serves: ~1 cup | Prep Time: 5 mins | Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 6 cloves garlic, peeled and finely minced

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional, for brightness)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Sauté the Garlic – In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter with olive oil. Add the minced garlic and cook gently for 1–2 minutes, stirring, until fragrant but not browned.

  2. Add Cream – Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat.

  3. Incorporate Cheese – Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

  4. Season – Add salt, pepper, and lemon juice if using. Adjust seasonings to taste.

  5. Serve – Remove from heat and serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley.

Pro Tip:
If you want a thinner sauce for drizzling over meats or vegetables, add a splash of milk until desired consistency is reached.
